How does Proteus Trader work?

Proteus Trader was designed specifically for investment banks. It interfaces with trading systems, gathering usage data by monitoring traffic within the trading system. By collecting data for all PBX and IP telephone systems, Proteus Trader provides data for accurate allocation of all voice services costs. Proteus Trader can collect and analyze a variety of data from a trader system including line labels for private wires, trader names and PINs, extensions, trunks, and consoles.

Proteus Trader collects data for all trading systems, PBXs, and IP Telephony systems through RS232 connection, direct IP logging, IP buffer technology, or call log files. In the event of a network fault, up to 40,000 call records can be stored.
